The Aluminium Fuel Tank Filler Cap is a robust option to cap off the male threaded fill point on a fuel storage tank, tanker faucet or valves. A tank fill point cap is designed to prevent dripping and unwanted dirt and water from getting into the tank's fill pipe.

These models are often seen on a diesel or oil tanks, and although they are popular as an oil tank cap they can be used with any fluid compatible with the materials of construction. Complete with two large lugs for easy application, brass chain and a sealing washer, the aluminium fuel tank filler cap is a sturdy and durable option.

The ZVA Elafix 40 AdBlue™ Magnetic Tank Adaptor is designed specifically for the prevention of miss-filling AdBlue™/DEF into a diesel tank. This universal ISO certified magnetic collar fits into any vehicles’ AdBlue™ filler neck, so that when used in conjunction with an AdBlue magnetic nozzle such as the Piusi SB325 or ZVA AdBlue model, it will prevent you from being able to dispense into anything other than the AdBlue™ tank. In addition, the 19mm ID of the magnetic adaptor prevents larger spout diesel nozzles from fitting into the fill point to prevent miss-filling the other way round as well.

The miss-filling of AdBlue™ is a common, reoccurring issue and will be costly for the vehicle owner to put right. AdBlue™ is not compatible with many materials, and miss-filling can corrode the pipework and components of a fuel system – resulting in thousands of pounds of damage, as well as having to pay for the removal of AdBlue™ from the tank.

Newly manufactured vehicles which use AdBlue™ should have had a AdBlue™ tank magnet incorporated into the fill point at the manufacturing stage. To check whether you already have a magnetic adaptor in your vehicle, hold something magnetic next to the AdBlue™ fill point and if you feel a magnetic pull, your vehicle already has one fitted. If there isn’t a magnetic pull, you will need to fit one of these Elafix AdBlue™ magnetic tank adaptors to reap the benefits of a magnetic AdBlue™ nozzle. 

The CTS Battery Operated Multi-Compartment Fuel Tank Alarm system has three functions; to detect and warn of a fuel storage tank overfill, a high/low liquid level and a bund leak. If the tank level alarm identifies that any of these states have occurred, the zone in question will illuminate on the alarm’s screen, and a loud siren and flashing red light will go off. When its battery is low, this level bund alarm will sound a single beep every minute to alert the user of this.

Thanks to being battery powered, these fuel tank alarms are designed to be installed on isolated or portable systems, and each zone can be configured allowing the alarm to be customised by the installer. Options are available that come with three relays, allowing additional equipment to be connected to the tank level alarm such as larger alarm systems or building management systems for remote monitoring.

If you need a tank level alarm for a fluid other than diesel or light oil, also available are a water and chemical alarm probe, and a high viscosity oil tank level probe – which is also suitable for AdBlue as well as high viscosity oils.

The Piusi Self Service diesel transfer pump is a forecourt-like fuel dispenser, but designed for the private diesel refuelling market where weights and measures are not required. This Piusi diesel pump has a standard mechanical flow meter detailing simple dispensing quantities, and its sturdy red steel floor standing case also incorporates a nozzle and hose support. The nozzle holster controls the on function of the pump with a manual lever, and automatically turns off the pump when the nozzle is returned. Thanks to its high flow rate capacity, this electric fuel transfer pump is often preferred when refuelling large fleet vehicles or heavy plant equipment and machinery.

There are numerous versions of this fuel dispenser available, including differing flow rates and the option of water filtration, which most vehicle manufacturers recommend when refuelling. There is also a mini version of the Self Service diesel transfer pumps available, ideal for direct mounting onto a bunded fuel tank, perhaps in applications where space is an issue.
