The Piusi Clear Captor Steel Mesh Fuel Filter Element is to be purchased as a replacement element for the 125 micron, Piusi Clear Captor steel mesh particle fuel filter.

The GoldenRod 496-5 Fuel Filter Element is the replacement, 17 micron paper cartridge for the GoldenRod 496 water block fuel filter. You should change your GoldenRod filter element when you notice the flow rate of your system dropping, as this indicates the fuel tank filter is getting full.

We would recommend using the GoldenRod filter wrench when changing the paper element to limit the risk of cracking of the bowl whilst trying to screw it off with force, and ensure it is screwed back on tight enough to prevent leaks.

Loxeal 11 Sealant Activator is a solvent based activating spray, for flanged or threaded joints, which cleans, degreases and speeds up the cure time. After applying the pipe sealant to the male end, spray the sealant activator on the female end and a cure time should be established between 20-120 seconds.
