Oil Tank Filter Kit

The Cim-Tek Tank Dryer is a fuel tank water absorber, which has been developed in response to the increasing concerns regarding water contamination of fuel. By checking for, and removing any unwanted water, the Tank Dryer reduces the damaging impact that this contamination has on machinery and vehicles. The Tank Dryer, or 'tank sock' as it is often referred to, contains highly absorbent silica gel, which when lowered into the tank absorbs up to 350ml of water.

This Oil Spill Kit contains all you need to simply and quickly deal with an oil spill in a portable and easy to access clip close carrier. Designed to absorb all hydrocarbon based oils, fuels, lubricants and petroleum based liquids, this emergency spill kit is a must have for wherever fuel or oil is stored, delivered or handled. Versions are available to clean up 10litres, 20litres and 40litres depending upon the individual requirements.

This Oil Spill Kit includes oil spill socks for containing the spill and stopping it spreading. These booms have a very flexible outer skin to ensure each have a high fluid absorbency of 7.5litres and high spill retention by moulding to the surface they are laid on. It also includes oil spill pads for absorbing the remaining fluid, each with a capacity of 1.1litres.

Due to their hydrophobic nature, the spill absorbents do not soak up water making them ideal for applications where water and oils must be separated. The spill pads remain buoyant in water, even when fully saturated, allowing them to absorb oil off the top.

The MT Profil Fuel Tank Float Gauge from Afriso is a small mechanical clock gauge for measuring the tank's contents by a float that sits on the fuel and goes up and down with the level. Whilst also popular for diesel storage tanks, it is most commonly used as a domestic heating oil tank gauge. The small display shows a scale of Empty 1⁄4, 1⁄2, 3⁄4 and Full for factory calibrated versions, allowing the user to quickly identify the approximate fuel tank level.

This oil tank level gauge is available in different versions depending upon the specific height of the fuel tank, or there is an 8'0 adjustable version. The 8'0 adjustable version of the MT Profil oil tank float gauge displays the level reading in cm, and has a reversible display which goes to 150cm max on one side, and 250cm max on the other.

These oil tank gauges are supplied as standard with 1 1⁄2” BSP Male for easy fitting on the top of the storage tank or drum. If your tank has a 2" BSP hole, you can fit this gauge by purchasing a 2" x 1 1/2" reducing bush. If your tank has a vent hole, you can connect the gauge by fitting a 2" barrel nipple into the hole and adding a combi vent cap which has a 1 1/2" BSP thread to screw in the gauge to prevent an additional hole being drilled.
