Heating Oil Tanks

This 1000 litre plastic bunded oil tank is designed for the safe storage of heating oil in domestic and commercial environments. Thanks to its slimline design it's ideal for use where there isn't much space available.

The oil tank is rotationally moulded from medium density polyethylene (MDPE) making it lightweight, durable and corrosion resistant. The tank fully complies with all neccasary regulations and guidelines.

The Afriso DTA10 is an electro-pneumatic tank contents gauge is powered by a 9V battery operated control unit with a digital display. The values are displayed in litres, percentage and CM. The DTA10 is easy to set up requiring use of only 3 function keys.

Measurements are shown on the gauge when the control button is pressed. If the liquid is below a pre-set level then the display will flash red to warn of low level.

The gauge is suitable for most tanks up to a height of 4 metres (3.5 metres for water) with pre-stored tank shapes of Horizontal, linear, spherical and cylindrical.

The Filstop 2" Overfill Prevention Valve is designed to act as the fill point for both metal and plastic tanks. The valve physically closes the inlet to the tank when the fuel level inside reaches it's maximum during a fuel delivery. This prevents damage to the tank, and environment as well as the costs associated with cleaning spilt fuel.

The steel tank version screws straight into the 2" BSP Inlet, whereas the plastic version requires a hole to be cut into the top of the tank for fixing via locknut.

The M200V Fuel Tank Float Gauge from Watts Industries is a small mechanical clock gauge for measuring the tanks contents by a float that sits on the fuel and goes up and down with the level. Whilst also popular for diesel storage tanks, it is most commonly used as a domestic heating oil tank gauge.

These oil tank gauges are supplied as standard with 1 1⁄2” BSP Male for easy fitting on the top of the storage tank or drum.
