The Fuel Recirculation Unit was developed to prevent diesel fuel inside a storage tank from getting stagnant - particularly those with low usage such as generator back up tanks, that whilst not regularly used are of vital importance. When fuel sits stagnant for long periods of time, microbial growth known as diesel bugs begin to form, join together and create a nasty biofilm. By keeping the fuel moving and free of the contaminants that can get sucked into pumps, equipment and vehicles, costly damage and downtime can be avoided.
The fuel storage tank circulation system draws the fuel up from the front of the tank through the magnetic conditioner, which stuns the bugs, breaking them down into a size that will pass through a two stage water and particle filtration process to remove any impurities. The cleaner fuel is then circulated back into the tank, before the bugs have been able to group and create the nasty sludge.
The storage tank recirc unit has an input for connecting to an alarm/gauge to detect a low fuel level and a leak probe for a drip tray (if installed). Benefiting from a control panel with large, coloured lights, any issues that need to be dealt with i.e. filter blocked, low fuel level, a leak or a system fault can be easily diagnosed. If the system identifies any of the above issues, the pump will turn off until necessary action has been taken as a safeguard. Complete with two BMS outputs, the control panel can also send a signal of this to warn users remotely.
There are two versions of Fuel Tank Circulation System; one for circulating (50lpm) a maximum of 3000 litres per day for tanks up to 40,000 litres, and another for circulating (70lpm) a maximum of 4000 litres per day for tanks up to 70,000 litres. Tank contents should be recirculated every 28 days to prevent bacteria colonies from forming. Our systems are set to turn over 1.5 times the tank contents every 28 days to include a safety margin.
The Husky 1GS Diesel Nozzle is the most popular automatic shut off version within the Husky nozzle offering. With its higher flow rate, it is designed for the clean and quick refuelling of vehicles with larger tanks, as well as agricultural and plant machinery. Like the other Husky fuel nozzles, the 1GS has an integrated device known as the Flo-stop®, which shuts off the fuel flow when the spout is raised above the horizontal or falls out the tank.
This durable Husky nozzle is fully constructed of aluminium and has the great design feature of the sensing port being positioned behind the spout end. This means that even after excessive use it does not get worn; the most common cause of nuisance click offs.
Another added benefit of this auto shut off fuel nozzle is its anti-air lock feature. This allows for the simple and easy priming of the pump without having to remove the fuel pump nozzle from the end of the hose.
The Piusi Grease Bucket Lever Hand Pump is a lever hand pump fitted to a 16kg capacity grease bucket container, designed for the cost effective dispensing of small quantities of grease. The sealed lid on this grease transfer pump keeps the grease free from contamination but can be unscrewed to refill the container from a drum. The integrated carry handle makes these grease bucket pumps easily manoeuvrable around the workshop and a foot plate ensures the pail is kept sturdy whilst the pump is in operation.
These Piusi pumps come with 2 meters of high pressure delivery hose, 4 jaw connector and ball valve to prevent leaking when not in use and come complete with follower plate and suction pipe.
This high quality diesel transfer pump from FMT Swiss AG is manufactured from shock resistant Die-cast aluminium with extremely small tolerances. The small tolerances of this pump allow for great suction & pressure performance.
Fitted with an on/off swtich, integral bypass & siphon protection, this 230v transfer pump is designed for a long service life and is capable of a 5 metre suction. The pump head is also rotatable 90 degrees in any direction, which gives the pump flexibility to be used in a wide range of applications.
This transfer pump from FMT has an encapsulated electric motor, which in case of extreme temperature fluctuations, largely prevents the formation of condensed water and of short-circuits resulting thereof.
