The Ultra Compact Oil Tank Filter Kit is designed for bottom outlet domestic heating oil tanks to remove debris with instant isolation and no pollution risk. The kit is comprised of the Ultra Compact isolation valve, 50 micron oil filter, PTFE tape, Heldite and all of the fittings required for installation. 

On other oil tank filter assemblies, an isolation valve is not the first component screwed into the tank which means that if the filter valve needs replacing then the tank needs to be drained. By having the Ultra Compact valve installed first, this filter assembly kit saves the engineer the couple of hours it would previously have taken to pump the tank out, replace the filter valve and then pump the heating oil back in. 

The Ultra Compact oil tank isolator valve is also available alone to replace the 1" BSPT x 1/2" BSPP adaptor if a generic filter kit is already installed. Both the filter kit and the valve alone can be retrofitted during service or at the time of the original tank installation.

The Plastic Heating Oil Bowl Filter is designed for removing debris and water from small bore fuel lines such as domestic oil heating systems. Its clear plastic bowl allows the user to see the remnants of the filtering process, and has a drain port for the easy removal of the filtered out water. This heating oil filter is also suitable for biodiesel up to B30.

The Heating Oil Bowl Filter is a 40 micron, alloy constructed inline filter. This heating oil tank filter is available in a number of different thread sizes depending upon the application. 

The Piusi Clear Captor Fuel Filter Element is a 30 micron, replacement element for the Piusi Clear Captor particle and water fuel filter. 

The Groz Fuel Filter Element is a 10 micron, replacement element for the Groz water and particle fuel filter. 

The GoldenRod 496-5 Fuel Filter Element is the replacement, 17 micron paper cartridge for the GoldenRod 496 water block fuel filter. You should change your GoldenRod filter element when you notice the flow rate of your system dropping, as this indicates the fuel tank filter is getting full.

We would recommend using the GoldenRod filter wrench when changing the paper element to limit the risk of cracking of the bowl whilst trying to screw it off with force, and ensure it is screwed back on tight enough to prevent leaks.

The Cim-Tek Hydroglass Fuel Tank Filter is designed to remove water and particles up to 10 micron, especially for use with biodiesel or fuel with a high bio content. Unlike the Hydrosorb filters which use a paper element, the Hydroglass alternatives make use of a high-performance fibre glass element for the more challenging nature of biodiesel. This Cim-Tek fuel filter also benefits from a higher dirt holding capacity which results in longer element life.

These fuel storage tank filters have a spin on cannister element, enabling the fuel filter element to be easily removed and replaced once it becomes full. Cim-Tek Hydroglass fuel tank filter includes two parts, static filter adapter (head) and an element. The All Cim-Tek filter components, including the replacement Cim-Tek 70024 element, are available individually as replacements.

The Cim-Tek 70024 fuel tank filter is designed for higher flow rate pump systems up to 100lpm. If a lower flow filter would be more suitable for your application, see the 70236 filter.

The Piusi CFD 150-30 Water Captor Fuel Tank Filter can be fitted to both the suction and delivery side of the system, ensuring that the diesel that is transferred is free of particles and water. Due to it having a maximum flow rate of 150lpm, this fuel storage tank filter is popular amongst high flow pumping systems.
