Aquafighter Snake Fuel Tank Water Absorber

    Availability 2-3 Days
    Price 70.90 85.08 inc VAT

The Aquafighter Snake is a fuel tank water absorber designed to remove both free and suspended/emulsified water from fuel tanks of industrial machines, boats, and fuel storage tanks with small openings such as generator belly tanks.

The increase of bio content in fuel means that there is a rising issue associated with water contamination and microbial growth, which is responsible for a nasty sludge that blocks filters, damages equipment, corrodes engines and causes poor fuel efficiency. The Aquafighter water absorber eliminates these problems by reducing the water content levels down to 75ppm to meet the EN590 diesel fuel standards (200ppm), saving you costly damage and downtime. The diesel tank water absorber not only absorbs free water like other solutions on the market but also separates and captures the suspended and emulsified water in the fuel, which often gets left to cause serious damage to your vehicles and equipment.

By working in this way, the Aquafighter Snake fuel tank water absorber provides numerous benefits including preventing diesel bug from forming, reducing filter replacement and need for tank cleaning and protecting the tank from corrosion.

Please note: If this is your first time using Aquafighter, we recommend buying 2 units. The first can be added to absorb the current water, which may become full quickly if there is a large problem with water. The second to be added once the other has been removed to act as a prevention against future water content.

    Price 106.50 127.80 inc VAT

Aquafighter Anaconda is a fuel tank water absorber designed to remove both free and suspended/emulsified water from fuel tanks to provide a complete solution for water contamination. This particular diesel and oil tank water absorber is typically installed through 3.5 inches/9 cm openings on bulk storage tanks with the option to install multiple absorbers on even bigger tanks if they can be removed individually.

As bio content in fuel is increasing, water content and the microbial growth that results from is are becoming serious issues for stored fuel quality. This is often responsible for creating a nasty sludge that blocks filters, damages your equipment, causes engine system corrosion and poor fuel efficiency. The Aquafighter water absorber eliminates these problems by reducing the water content levels down to 75ppm to meet the EN590 diesel fuel standards (200ppm) and saving you costly damage and downtime. Availability 2-3 Days
    Price 67.50 81.00 inc VAT

Aquafighter Large Canvas is a fuel tank water absorber designed to remove both free and suspended/emulsified water out of diesel fuel directly in the tank, therefore providing a complete solution for water contamination. Aquafighter Canvas comes in two sizes, Medium and Large, depending on the size of the fuel storage tank. The diesel and oil tank water absorber is typically used for removing water from bulk fuel storage tanks and generator tanks.

The medium size is suitable for a tank with a capacity of up to 5,000 litres with the access of at least 12cm and the large size for a capacity of up to 10,000 litres with the access of at least 16cm. Both sizes of the fuel tank water absorber can be manipulated through tank opening but not through a long pipe.

The bound and free water in a storage tank can cause issues associated with microbial growth, known as "diesel bugs", which is responsible for creating a nasty sludge that blocks filters, damages your equipment, causes engine system corrosion and poor fuel efficiency. The Aquafighter water absorber eliminates these problems by reducing the water content levels down to 75ppm to meet the EN590 diesel fuel standards (200ppm) and saving you costly damage and downtime. Mesh Gauge

The GoldenRod Mesh Filter can be used in place of the paper cartridge that comes as standard with the GoldenRod 495 fuel filters. Thanks to its stainless steel construction, this mesh strainer GoldenRod filter can be emptied and cleaned of debris as it starts to collect impurities from the fuel. This makes it reusable rather than having to be replaced as the element gets full.

As it is only able to filter our larger particles in comparison to the other Goldenrod fuel tank filter elements, the mesh version is often seen used in conjunction with the paper cartridges. With the mesh version installed inline first, it is able to catch any large contaminants that have made their way into the tank such as rubble, grass or hay, leaving the paper one to filter out the smaller bits. This prevents premature blocking of new filter elements. The mesh element is also sometimes used temporarily in place of the paper cartridge when using a tank that hasn't been used in a while and the user isn't sure on the fuel quality, or where used cooking oils are being recycled to make biodiesel and is likely to contain larger contaminants.

The CTS Fuel Recirculation Unit was developed to prevent diesel fuel inside a storage tank from getting stagnant - particularly those with low usage such as generator back up tanks, that whilst not regularly used are of vital importance. When fuel sits stagnant for long periods of time, microbial growth known as diesel bugs begin to form, join together and create a nasty biofilm. By keeping the fuel moving and free of the contaminants that can get sucked into pumps, equipment and vehicles, costly damage and downtime can be avoided.

The fuel storage tank circulation system draws the fuel up from the front of the tank through the magnetic conditioner, which stuns the bugs, breaking them down into a size that will pass through a two stage water and particle filtration process to remove any impurities. The cleaner fuel is then circulated back into the tank, before the bugs have been able to group and create the nasty sludge.

The CTS storage tank recirc unit has an input for connecting to an alarm/gauge to detect a low fuel level and a leak probe for a drip tray (if installed). Benefiting from a control panel with large, coloured lights, any issues that need to be dealt with i.e. filter blocked, low fuel level, a leak or a system fault can be easily diagnosed. If the system identifies any of the above issues, the pump will turn off until necessary action has been taken as a safeguard. Complete with two BMS outputs, the control panel can also send a signal of this to warn users remotely.

There are two versions of CTS Fuel Tank Circulation System; one for circulating (50lpm) a maximum of 3000 litres per day for tanks up to 40,000 litres, and another for circulating (70lpm) a maximum of 4000 litres per day for tanks up to 70,000 litres. Tank contents should be recirculated every 28 days to prevent bacteria colonies from forming. Our systems are set to turn over 1.5 times the tank contents every 28 days to include a safety margin.
